BUTTER JADE

Carved from a gorgeous piece of Butter Jade this is another of his superb works of art. This stone is hard, lustrous, and smooth. It has a creamy yellow colour with dark striations throughout. These striations found in the attractive yellow-green sedimentary rock are layers containing fossilized algae.

The stone is typically around 2,500 million years old and falls between 6 and 7 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.

Jade carries a sweet, light, and nourishing energy that is very healing, is also considered a symbol of purity and serenity, a protective stone bringing harmony, good luck, and friendship.
