About The Artist

jeche munyaradzi

I am the fourth born in a family of four. I was born on the 25 November 1983 in Midlands province, Zimbabwe. My parents divorced when I was 2 years old. I did my primary schooling at zangeza 8 Primary School before moving on to Morgan High School where I completed my O-Levels.

After passing my O-Levels, I decided to venture into sculpting, as it was my dream. My two brothers Arab and Authur inspired me and I worked with them for a year. Having gained experience, I started working on my own.

I have faced many problems but I not looked back. Rickson Zavare (‘Murehwa’), Stanford Chanakira and Tago Tazvitya have helped me. I carved abstract shapes and I am enjoying success in my career. I would like to have promoters worldwide and I have sold my works to collectors in USA, Australia, Germany and UK. I favor working with green and white opal stones, black and fruit serpentine and springstone. I would like to thank all people who are promoting my art, God bless you all.
